Finnair increases capacity to Kuusamo for winter 2017-2018
Due to the continued increase in demand for Lapland as a tourist destination, Finnair is growing its capacity to Kuusamo and Rovaniemi airports for the winter 2017 season. With the increase in flights and new appealing departure times, the connections from Central Europe and Asia to Kuusamo are getting significantly better.
Kuusamo will see an additional 23% growth in seat capacity with three additional weekly frequencies operating on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays (on top of the new flights we've announced earlier). Finnair will fly to Kuusamo mostly twice a day, on busiest days even four times. Flights will be operated with Embraer 190 and Airbus aircraft.
